Recent presence of Thor's scaldfish Arnoglossus thori Kyle, 1913 in the western English Channel

- Thor's scaldfish Arnoglossus thori was reported from around the British Isles in the late 1800s and early 1900s, but with seemingly few authenticated records in recent decades. An annual trawl survey of the western English Channel operating since 2006 first reported two individuals in 2024, with a further 11 specimens encountered in 2025. These observations confirm the recent presence of A. thori in the western English Channel and the waters of the United Kingdom.

- Présence récente de l'arnoglosse tacheté Arnoglossus thori en Manche ouest. L'arnoglosse tacheté Arnoglossus thori a été signalé dans les îles Britanniques à la fin du XIXème siècle et au début du XXème siècle, mais les mentions authentifiées semblent rares ces dernières décennies. Une étude annuelle au chalut à perche dans l'ouest de la Manche depuis 2006 a permis de repérer deux individus pour la première fois en 2024, puis 11 autres en 2025. Ces observations confirment la présence récente d'A. thori dans l'ouest de la Manche et les eaux du Royaume-Uni.
