Two new species of the genus Hofmaenneria Schneider in Gerlach & Meyl, 1957 (Nematoda: Monhysterida) from Chinese Sea Area

- Two new species of Hofmaenneria were collected from intertidal sediments of the Bohai Sea and the Yellow Sea, China, and they are described herein as Hofmaenneria heterospiculum sp. nov. and Hofmaenneria gracilis sp. nov. H. heterospiculum sp. nov. is characterized by cuticle striated, buccal cavity deep and cuticularized, cylindrical or cup-shaped, amphidial fovea circular, short paired spicules unequable in shape and size, left spicule stout and shorter, right spicule slender and longer, gubernaculum with a large ventrally bended apophysis, tail conico-cylindrical with three terminal setae. The second new species H. gracilis sp. nov. is characterized by body slender, outer labial and cephalic setae relatively long, small circular amphids posterior to the buccal cavity, buccal cavity cylindrical without denticles, spicules short, ventrally arcuate, gubernaculum small, without dorsal apophysis, tail slender, conico-cylindrical with three terminal setae. The discovery of the two species adds to the diversity of marine species in the genus Hofmaenneria.

- Deux nouvelles espèces du genre Hofmaenneria Schneider in Gerlach & Meyl, 1957 (Nematoda : Monhysterida) des mers de Chine. Deux nouvelles espèces de Hofmaenneria ont été récoltées dans les sédiments intertidaux de la Mer de Bohai et de la Mer Jaune en Chine et ils sont décrits ici comme Hofmaenneria heterospiculum sp. nov. et Hofmaenneria gracilis sp. nov. H. heterospiculum sp. nov. est caractérisée par sa cuticule striée, sa cavité buccale profonde et cuticulée, cylindrique ou en forme de coupe, des fovea amphidiales circulaires, des spicules paires courtes inégales en forme et en taille, un spicule gauche robuste et plus court, un spicule droit élancé et plus long, un gubernaculum avec une grande apophyse recourbée ventralement et une queue conico-cylindrique portant trois soies terminales. La seconde espèce H. gracilis sp. nov. est caractérisée par un corps élancé, des soies labiales externes et céphaliques assez longues, des amphides circulaires postérieurs à la cavité buccale, celle-ci circulaire sans denticule, des spicules courts, arqués ventralement, un petit gubernaculum, sans apophyse dorsale, une queue élancée conico-cylindrique portant trois soies terminales. La découverte de ces deux espèces augmente la diversité des espèces marines du genre Hofmaenneria.
